We have some currentcost monitors for loan; they can be installed quickly and simply and show both how mjch energy you're using and the cost. You can test how much of each you can save by switching appliances off; what applaince uses how much; etc.
We also have single appliance energy meters for loan.

Hello here is my experience re variation of prices for railtickets:
For travel form London to Germany (in this case Frankfurt /Main) the price from Deutsche Bahn was half that of British raileurope. You can look up times/connections etc on the website www.bahn.co.uk but for finding the best  price you need to phone Deutsche Bahn on 0208 3394701 avoiding the expensive (8 p per minute) 08718 80 80 66 number. Their office times are Monday to Friday.
